Audrie Pott 2012 Suicide -Facebook "Take Downs"-Netflix Documentary & Legal Parental Alienation (PAS) - Brings Drama and Media Circus to Santa Clara County Family and Civil Courts
Audrie Pott's Suicide: Media Questions Step Parents' Court Actions
A nasty little family court issue that Larry and Shelia Pott likely hoped they buried long ago has boiled over and is bringing the media back to question what the hell is going on in Santa Clara County Courts.
Just three months after the media spectacle over Judge Persky's sentencing in the Brock Turner rape case, the media is again descending on Santa Clara County courts to investigate how a biological father can first be eliminated from his child's life, and then gaged from speaking about his child , as her mother and two stepparents are allowed to step on a national stage , where they appear to be profiting handsomely from Audrie's tragic 2012 death,
Santa Clara County Court records show the Potts appear to have filed several lawsuits against Audrie's biological father , Michael Lazarin .
" They are clearly using the legal system to harass a biological parent, where they are likely making an obscene amount of money and gaining celebrity-like status in our Silicon Valley community ", claimed a member of Jane and John Q Public.
Jane and John Q have followed the story of Michael Lazarin, the real father of Audrie Pott who was financially devastated after years of fighting to simply assert his parental rights , where he sought simply to spend time with his own daughter . Parents from all over the world who have been alienated from their own children during family court cases have reached out to support Michael , especially after the tragic death of his daughter in 2012.
It is an alienated parent's worst nightmare to consider a time that family courts no longer have jurisdiction to keep them from their children, and the possibility that those children may have been so permanently brainwashed during legal alienation, that the parent could be additionally denied from knowing their own child as an adult. For these parents Michael Lazarin's story is excruciating. The fact that Michael has no possibility of reuniting with his child as an adult is unimaginable.
Parents who have lost children to violence , diseases and illness are also supportive of Michael Lazarin, making this case a great matter of public importance.
The Potts appear to have used the Santa Clara County courts , and every dirty trick in the book, to try to keep the truth about Audrie's real father and the impact of keeping that father from Audrie a secret.. The Potts have filed multiple lawsuits in unrelenting litigation, all appearing to infringe on Michael's First Amendment Rights. Many are questioning why Santa Clara Courts have allowed this to continue.
Most recently Lisa Pott has been reported to be ripping through Facebook, attacking any post of private citizens that purports to support Michael Lazarin, on private accounts. Facebook's legal team was recently called on to address this issue and found Lisa's claims for takedown to be without merit.
Jane and John Q have employed investigators and experts to assist members in defending against the Potts who clearly seek to benefit from the pi]public spotlight , while trying to silence any critics or persons wishing to expose the truth,.
The Potts may be most anxious to protect the recent Netflix film , Audrie and Daisy. Insiders report the film had 10,000,000 viewers in the first week it was released, and the Potts stand to benefit from that success through a foundation they established in Audrie's name . Meanwhile the Potts have used their legal might to try to jail Audrie's real father, and to gag him from even muttering her name.
Silicon Valley continues to be ground zero for these important issues, Issues that may ultimately involve Silicon Valley giants like Facebook and Netflix, Fundamental issues of the little guy and First Amendment Rights are taking center stage in the tech epicenter of the world, making Silicon Valley poised to fight societal issues that could change the world.
Most importantly, the Pott case will bring greater attention to family courts misusing protective and gag orders in a manner that is simply unconstitutional.
Jane and John Q has been highly supportive of court reform hero Joe Sweeney . Joe spoke up against a dysfunctional judicial disciple system in California, and two days later was jailed for what clearly were bogus charges stemming from a family court issue related to a gag order , an order as ridiculous as the one seen in the case of Michael Lazarin and the Potts.
Jane and John Q have heard Vitol debates between mother's rights groups and father's rights groups with extreme memberships so blinded by hate, they fail to see our fight is for parents vs. courts that seek to deny innocent parents their children or that appear willing to give full custody to abusive parents, for profit. Our children are not a pay to play topic for our courts. We fight for the children and innocent parents wanting to give them love , a childhood and a future.
Our legal system is being misused to silence parents who speak up to protect their children, or who seek to promote fairness and to beat back the bullies.. The issues in Joe Sweeney's case are moving to a larger national conversation as wide media coverage with weigh-in from some of the top civil rights attorneys in the country is also expected to hit next week.
Ironically the Potts used the suicide of their daughter to get state laws that protect children from social media bullying. Now we must question what laws we need to protect parents from being bullied in family court cases and from people like Larry Pott, Sheila Pott and Lisa Pott.
