On Sunday, January 31, 2016 CBS's 60 Minutes brought attention to the real unethical conduct of American lawyers, conduct  that the Bar  ignores and that  shows the  willingness of its members to engage in illegal and unethical conduct to help a fictitious  African citizen launder money. Conduct family law lawyers engage for not so fictitious clients everyday.

Conduct described in the 60 mins. segment  goes on every day in family courts, where family law lawyers help owners of closely held corporations hide and launder money to conceal  money from their children, former spouses and the courts. Innocent spouses and ethical family lawyers are often ill prepared to find the money.

Attention is being brought specifically to Silicon Valley , where judges involved in the " Google divorce, and other high profile business owner divorces can bring staggering fees and  costs, creating a golden payday for lawyers and CPAs willing to turn their back on the law and professional obligations to help wealthy clients.

The 60 min. feature talks about $100,000 in fees ,  and amount that dwarfs the $1,000,000 plus lawyers in Silicon Valley get from the standard middle class divorce when  businesses are involved..
