Solano County was served with a petition to recall Judge Carringer as an angry mob of parents lashed out over Carringer's failure to protect the county's children in family court proceedings. Judge Carringer is reportedly one of the worst judges on California's family court bench, giving a bad wrap to women in California's legal system. Carringer appears to be signing unlawful orders designed to harm innocent parents and children. As a matter of routine. Carringer repeatedly violates the civil rights of litigants before her, and California's Judicial Council continues to turn a blind eye, which could result in the loss of millions in state and federal funds. For years parents in Solano county have been trying to remove Carringer where a grass roots group claims Carringer has acted with incompetence and bias, and removed countless children from good loving parents, for no reason at all. A grassroots petition claims Carringer has acted improperly in over 267 divorce and custody cases and additionally is rumored to be personally and sexually involved with lawyers and court employees acting in her courtroom. Read the online petition that started it all here. But the Commission on Judicial Performance, the state watchdog charged with protecting the public has been asleep at the wheel for over 50 years, not protecting the public from judges just like Carringer. Last week a group of parents filed a petition to recall Carringer , an extraordinary measure that will cost tax payers millions, and which could have been avoided if the Commission on Judicial Performance were not a toothless watchdog agency. Carringer was conveniently not in the court to accept service or make comment when the petition was served. Christine Carringer seems to be just one of hundreds of family court judges who may ultimately be responsible for taking down California's judiciary. Judges who willfully violate the civil rights of litigants appearing before them risk state and federal funding that require compliance with civil rights. California's State Auditor has been embroiled in a lawsuit with the Commission on Judicial Performance, as the CJP attempts to block oversight as to how it handles discipline of judges like Carringer. a lawsuit that is clearly designed to protect bad judges and a broken oversight body, at public expense. The Judicial Council, the money arm of California's state judiciary, is worried. Judges are on what essentially equates to a PR campaign, where they are spending public tax dollars trying to convince the state legislature , and members of the public, that they judges are not as bad as it might seem. Social media sites including Facebook, Twitter ,Snapchat and Change.org as well as anonymous blogs and websites continue to show what is really going on and courts , as well as mainstream media can no longer suppress public sentiment through bogus gag orders designed to silence parents and people advocating for family court reform. Santa Clara County has even filed legal papers to silence free speech critical of court management and biased judicial officers. The petition to remove Carringer came from a grassroots effort, while a similar effort plays out in the mainstream media with huge fundraising support on Persky, the impact and embarrassment to the state's judiciary is about the same and will certainly raise questions related to the state and federal funds Solano and Santa Clara county receive to run fair and equitable family courts.
