Former Attorney General Calls Pro Per Champion Lawyer Garrett Dailey a Liar & Links Dailey to Reunification Camps and Custody Sandal
Garrett Dailey was the hero lawyer of the famed Elkins case, a case that rippled up and down California's judiciary and pulled back the curtain on how badly self-represented litigants were treated in California's divorce courts. Following the Elkins case task forces were established , committees were formed and judges and lawyers pretended to be resolving the issues and fixing California's family courts. Garrett Dailey was a hero .
Sadly , Dailey , instead of remaining a champion for divorce underdogs, began to use his career to harm the very people he built his career on in the first place. Most disturbing is the recent revelation that Dailey is financially and professional connected to the state's highly controversial reunification camps.
In January 2016, in a Sunnyvale family court room controlled by Judge Mary Ann Grilli, , Garrett Dailey was called a liar by former attorney General Joseph Russoniello, in a case where he opposed nefarious lawyer Brad Baugh.
Insiders report that as Russoniello tried to disqualify Dailey from a case, that Brad Baugh used the dementia ridden Judge Grilli , her court reporter Stephanie Estes, her court clerk, and reliance on litigation privilege to lie and engage in a racketeering game that even the famed Joseph Russoniello could not stop. Transcripts were withheld and altered , phone records were concealed, and Brad Baugh , who frequently communicates with Dailey via cell phone and at social functions played a game that is all too familiar to people who have endured divorces in Santa Clara County .
The experience in Santa Clara County family courts apparently left Russoniello so shell shocked, that he reportedly has turned away business following the Hayward v,. Superior Court case, admitting to colleagues that the pervasive cronyism in California's family courts runs so deep , and up to the Supreme Court, that it can't be fixed , or fought , through a fair legal process. Russionello is also keenly aware that Dailey has bribed and fixed rulings all the way to the Supreme Court in a manner that Russoniello admits will only be fixed with federal intervention.
Court files in the county also show that Garrett Dailey is highly connected to the custody scams now rocking the judiciary . Dailey is reported to have an interest in custody centers that benefit evaluators who include Randy Rand, Dr. Rebecca Bailey , Phil Stahl, Susan Stahl John Orlando, Valerie Houghton, Michael Kerner, and Ken Perlmutter. Most concerning are the connections and money trails that connect Dailey to Natural Bridges and Family Transitions, organizations that employ terroristic tactics and use reunification camps to take custody from protective parents.
Custody experts and reunification camps are big business in California's divorce and custody cases. Supervised visitors can charge parents $150 an hour to see their own children , reunification camps and other questionable therapy can cost even a middle class family $150,000- $300,000, and Garret Dailey along with a core of nefarious lawyers and custody evaluators appear to be profiting from these organizations in an alarming manner.
Dailey, who could have spent his career defending the little guy , quickly chose the road to corruption. Since the favorable Elkins ruling that put him on the map, Garrett Dailey has developed a long career where profits and cronyism appear to be at the center of his work and finances.
It is estimated that between appeals work performed for lawyers Bradford Baugh and Nat Hales, along with kickbacks and profits from custody experts like Valerie Houghton and speaking engagements throughout the state, as sanctioned by the State Bar, that Garrett Dailey has made over $10,000,000 a year, all because he put himself on the map with the Elkins case .
Valerie Houghton is currently under indictment for white collar crimes, independent investigations reveal Houghton , through Baugh , had a connection to Dailey and Dailey , like Houghton appears to be connected to white collar criminal activity that is anchored in Bradford Baugh's long standing career as a family law attorney in Silicon Valley.
An investigation also has revealed a connection between Dailey and Santa Clara DA Jeff Rosen and Contra Costa County DA Mark Peterson. Peterson was recently removed from office and the State Bar is recommending disbarment, but prior complaints to the Bar about Rosen and Peterson have been repeatedly ignored. Dailey is reported to have worked closely with his contacts in DA offices to manufacture domestic violence and other criminal claims during divorce cases, to give him and advantage in the Court of Appeal. The Sixth and Frist District Courts of Appeal are also being investigated as a result.
In Santa Clara County along, Dailey works with the local Bar Association and judges like Grilli, Towery, Aarand, Greenwood and Lucas, to get more in fees for family law attorneys. Dailey is also known to be contributing to the reelection campaigns as judges and making "anonymous " donations to the local family courts to keep them afloat. He is reported to also be making payments to court reporters like Stephanie Estes, who then delay transcripts and interfere with appeals in the Sixth District , giving Dailey and Brad Baugh appeal courts rulings and dismissals that are nothing more than bought verdicts.
Dailey's reach extends into appeals courts , where it is said he knows the judges and where he socializes and consults with them regularly and assures victories where he uses information , money and his crony network to buy verdicts and justice that keep his career on track.
There are a lot of crooks and kickbacks on Garrett Dailey's payroll , and Brad Baugh has Dailey on cell phone speed dial to keep those financial streams flowing.
Judge Mary Ann Grilli had ample evidence before her , as did Mr. Russoniello to report Garrett Dailey to the State Bar, neither did and Mr. Dailey will continue to profit from the machine he has built on the innocent parents and children in Silicon Valley as a result.
