Bailiffs are Using Secret Recording Devices and Text Messages in Family and Criminal Court Proceedings
SAN JOSE, CA- Moles, Snitches and Whistleblowers embedded in the local Sheriff's department are exposing officers involved in a complex sex trafficking scheme which includes transporting moms jailed for custody or false domestic violence claims to the county run fairgrounds where the women are sexually assaulted, forced to perform oral sex and even raped by county workers and contractors.
"Women are being threatened with false probation violations, fabricated police reports or loss of their children in divorce cases as men demand sexual favors in return", reported one law enforcement insider.
Sheriffs are also reportedly using chest cams and personal recording devices to ease drop on side bar and attorney - client conversations during family and criminal court proceedings in order to assist in bringing increased domestic violence charges against innocent parents or to silence family court reformers and critics.
The #metoo movement is said to have motivated men and women to come forward in an effort to expose the law enforcement culture that harms women and families while imposing a reign of terror on local communities.
Smith, who played the female card herself when she was nearly passed over for a promotion based on gender, has been a complicit manager of mostly male officers who secure Santa Clara Country jails and courtrooms.
Laurie Smith as spent six years refusing to break up the Good- Old-Boys Club that has been assisting family law attorneys, judges and court reporters in elaborate money laundering, Antitrust and RICO schemes where manufacturing evidence and legal outcomes persists in Silicon Valley's most elite communities.
Publically, Smith maintains an adversarial relationship with District Attorney Jeff Rosen. Privately, Smith panders to Rosen and judges willing to taint trials and convert community property in family law cases. This conduct feeds an elite crony network of lawyers, big law firms , court reporters, bailiffs who accept bribes and judges who receive financial kickbacks as innocent families and children are robbed blind and women are discredited or discarded as a matter of routine. Smith is part of a financial machine that fills the gaps in state funding for the courts and counties, as the reputations of the communities she was elected to serve continue to be harmed.
Secret recordings made by officers in local courtrooms are known by Smith and ignored. Smith has allowed officers assigned to courtrooms to pressure witnesses, litigants and members of the press in a manner that influences jurors and impacts legal outcomes. Smith is also aware Bailiffs communicate regularly, while in court proceedings, with other bailiffs, the DA, judges and court clerks through encrypted messages in Signal and WhatsApp. This method of communication is done to avoid detection from legal subpoenas. Smith has also ignored sexual harassment and assault complaints arising from courts and the prosecutor's office.
Officer misconduct has flourished under Smith where subverting and obstructing justice, destroying evidence and falsifying police reports in order to attack disfavored politicians and litigants is a widely accepted practice. The Sheriffs also work with the courts to falsify proofs of service, as they did in the Ray McDonald case, in order to assist select lawyers protect celebrity clients.
Dubbed "Operation Marilyn", law enforcement whistleblowers can describe a complex network of cash payments, sex trafficking and schemes that harm women in one of the world's most affluent areas of the country , as county workers remain silent and where Laurie Smith is up for reelection in 2018.
Those who oppose Smith have started anonymous blogs and websites to populate the internet and expose the corruption that has thrived under Smith's leadership. Casey Thomas' World is one such website. Sherriff insiders know that police misconduct has infected county criminal and family law cases for decades, and more recently such conduct has been implicated in influencing judges and juries in cases involving silicon Valley Tech, sports franchises (including the 49ers) and social media companies.
The same deputy later slipped out and was said to be secretly recording for Judge David Cena as a "favor" , as Cena considers a sentencing option of no jail time for three former Sheriff's department employees (Jereh Lubrin, Matthew Farris and Rafael Rodriguez) who were convicted by a jury on June 1, 2017 of brutally beating Michael Tyree to death in a local jail.
Such conduct has occurred in Santa Clara County criminal and family courts for decades, terrorizing litigants and members of the press and public along the way. Such conduct will only stop when counties lose funding and face legal costs that outstrip political corruption.
