Free Speech  Chilled in CA Family Courts?

Are crooked family lawyers in Santa Clara County on a desperate quest to keep media out of family court?

This week in a pleading filed by attorney John Henry Perott, a mother was accused of being involved in a Petition on Change.org, where the lawyer suggested such conduct should mean the mother should be denied a custody and visitation request.

Ironically , at the time Mr Perott made this filing  and tried to bias Judge Mary Ann Grilli against the opposing side in a  family law case, an investigative reporter was already looking into Grilli's cases and found a similar claim by Nat Hales, when he acted in a divorce case as a private judge and sanctioned a mother not getting state mandated child support $50,000 for refusing to grant his favorite CPA civil immunity .

While the investigation is fairly new, initial findings are disturbing. It appears that the Judge infamous for In re Marriage of Cheriton, has not being doing a good job for families and children in Santa Clara County for decades.

A list of " preferred" lawyers , custody evaluators , CPAs and private judges shows that Grilli has been managing a House of Cards in Santa Clara County that may rival anything the US attorney General found in Ferguson Missouri this week.

The press has always played an important role in our judicial system. Sandals are rarely uncovered without the involvement of media. Shield laws protect media from rumors and retaliation so true investigations can forge on.

The woman who was subject of Perott's attacks in family court , may find a little relief from judicial retaliation now that multiple Grilli  cases are being looked at and reviewed for civil rights and due process violations.

On the heels of the drugging of foster children, the indiscretions in Santa Clara County prisons and the sotted past of family court issues related to probate and divorce cases, Santa Clara County has reason to worry if the US Attorney General heads to California Family Courts. Maybe Santa Clara County should save up that new money they just got from the state.
