Court Watchers in Alameda County were heard claiming there are far too many good fathers out there to allow lawyers like Dominic Porrino to continue to hold children for ransom in California's divorce and custody cases. Much like family law attorneys Debra Crawford, Bradford Baugh, Nancy Perkovich , Paula Salinger, Marilyn Moreno, Nat Hales, Hector Moreno, Walter Hammon, Katherine Dorset and Stacey Stevens. Dominic Porrino appears to subscribe to the philosophy that more money can be made when certain litigation tactics are employed during a modern day divorce or custody case. Quite simply these tactics would never be tolerated by real judges in civil or criminal matters as they include: #1 - Making false claims of domestic violence. #2- Claiming a former spouse is insane or mentally unstable. #3- Asking the court to declare the other parent vexatious. #4- Making irrelevant attacks on parenting and character. #5 Retaliating against ANYONE who files complaints with: The Commission on Judicial Performance , The State Bar, The Court Reporter's Board or the Psychology Board. All too oftern family law judges are ignoring the law and pandering to politics and drama brought by a select group of unscrupulous lawyers who make obscene fees and profits camouflaged in a $300-500/ hr. fee. Matthew Laycock appears to be one client getting his money's worth. Laycock, who is represented by Porrino, is reportedly using the money he earns as an employee for Apple , Inc. to beat down the mother of his children in an Alameda family court. The mother in Alameda family court with Laycock has not been able to afford a lawyer herself and now appears to be fighting Laycock and Porrino to avoid being declared vexatious. The mother has reportedly filed State Bar Complaints, CJP complaints and complaints about less than ethical or qualified persons who are acting in a custody matter involving children under 10 years of age. The most questionable conduct appears to involve Elizabeth Braunstein , Commissioner Hendrickson and Judge Alice Vilardi. Laycock is reported to be trying to have the mother declared vexatious and ordered to a psych evaluation , while Judge Morrison, the presiding judge in Alameda County is well aware that the mother is facing retaliation for speaking out against the gross unfairness of family court proceedings and has filed administrative complaints in all state watchdog agencies that are designed to protect the public and prevent retaliation clearly being experienced by the mother of Laycock's young children. In 2016 Laycock reported he had only paid $6500 in legal fees and that Porrino earned merely $300 an hour. By 2017 Laycock had paid Porrino sufficiently to try to declare his former wife insane and vexatious , as multiple Alameda Judges assist in retaliation for the mother's efforts to file complaints against judges and dirt bag lawyers like Porrino. Laycock, called an "arrogant little prick" by one concerned member of the public who observed Laycock and Porrino in and out of court, not only gloated at beating up his former spouse in court, he seemed to have no problem threatening and attacking reporters who tried to bring media attention to Alameda family law cases. Laycock was so arrogant following a hearing before Judge Chatterjee, that he and Porrino insisted that three bailiffs escort them to their car, an appearance they are as guilty and worthy of media attention as O.J. Simpson, Bill Cosby, or Peter Sandusky. $6500 seems like a deal, where Laycock is concerned. Brad Baugh, a Santa Clara family lawyer, declared he charged Oliver Garbe $65,000 to have his former wife declared vexatious. Garbe of course had money as he was the step son of Sean Connery , and the Sixth District Court of Appeal allowed Garbe to keep $100,000 he and his wife had been given by Sean Connery and Garbe's mom as a wedding gift. Stacey Stevens, an attorney skilled at using false DV and "Mental Impairment" claims against moms in divorce and custody cases, boasted in a public court that she had been used by Brain Krippendorf , who uses computers , resources and money he makes while working at the big law firm of Wilson, Sonsini , Goodrich and Roasti, to declare the mother of his children vexatious and subject her to pay for supervised visits in a Contra Costa county custody and Santa Clara County support case. Contra Costa Family Court Services , including employee Jim Paulssen is reported to be assisting lawyers like Stevens and Porrino in custody cases, making Kids for Cash the latest California Family Court problem and where Paulsen and others court employees are recommending custody arrangements that deviate from 50-50 by discrediting opposing parities, especially pro per litigants. Male court watchers in Contra Costa claimed Family Court Services have given custody solely to parents who just "stink as a person" , by using false claims to discredit good parents seeking equitable custody arrangements in Contra Costa County. Family Court mediators appear to be the next in line for court reform advocates, who have already broken through the immunity claimed by CPS. Employers that include Apple and Facebook are starting to note Silicon Valley family courts are bad for business. Some of the worst cases have seen judges routinely violate the law, and retaliate when complaints to admisntrative agencies are made. Privately employers have PR and marketing teams scrambling to undo the negative impact of financial records and image backlash that is ground swelling as court reform advocates and activists garner more media attention. Mainstream media outlets like the Chronicle's investigative reporting team are now even willing to accept complaints that the State Bar and CJP have tried to keep confidential for over 50 years. One Apple, Inc. employee made off record comments to Q , indicating that Apple, Inc. is struggling to adjust to the disruption in productivity when people like Laycock are spending all their time in court, or beating up on members of the press, to keep a matter of public interest out of the media. Frankly Silicon Valley is under a great deal of pressure due to treatment of women in the tech industry, that treatment appears to extend to Silicon Valley Family Courts, and consumers won't stand for it." . " Family Court is bad for business , " stated the Apple employee, who wished to remain off record. " Apple executives are well aware that employees and contractors like Laycock have brought social media attention that includes #ShameonApple at a critical time for Apple's iPhone 8 marketing push". Emails are also flying around the big law firm of Wilson, Sonsini , Goodrich and Rosati, as an army of lawyers from Washington DC to Palo Alto try to determine if Krippendorf has used company resources and illegal hacking activity during his bitter custody battle that could expose the firm, and its clients, to subpoenas and public scrutiny. A key component in cleaning up California's family courts involves the state mandated audit of the Commission on Judicial Performance. Victoria Henley , the Director of the CJP who has been burying judge complaints in a cloak of secrecy is reported to be feverishly destroying documents that will reveal the state's most unethical and incompetent judges after the audit got a boost this week when the Auditor, Ms. Howle and her lawyer , Myron Moskovich , filed a declaration explaining why the CJP being allowed to continue to hide, or redact the names of judges who are the subject of a complaint makes an audit impossibly impotent. Ms, Howle's declaration reveals the efforts the University of California's Office of the President went to while trying to hide information from the Auditor , which clearly shows an erosion of ethics and conduct that is nothing short of moral turpitude that has seeped into California's Courts and most revered public teaching instructions, conduct that clearly needs to be drained from the Swamp leaking sewage into public payrolls. Personal fights going on in divorces have seeped out so far and wide that most court clerks, court reporters and judges have no idea how to control conduct that belongs under the pond scum. The final area needed to clean up family courts is action by the State Bar. The auditor already exposed many of the flaws of the Bar, which simply put : Fails to Protect the Public Looks like the media is going to have to do the job judges and ethical lawyers should have done years ago.

Carolyn Cain was court appointed to represent my daughter. She is responsible for refusing Dependency Court, ethics violations too many to count, etc. However, I must give credit where credit is due and point out the Honorable John H Sugiyama head of Probate Dept 14!

Hi, I was directed to your site, years back I hired a HORRIBLE attorney named Paula Grohs who scrubbed my Yelp reviews, she is just like the movie DIVORCE CORP, racketeering attorneys and scammers. The same things Grohs complains about. She is totally corrupt now I am finding her newest victims onlilne, oh also you can contact her for her comment:

I own multiple businesses and Yelp claims they can NOT scrub or remove the negative reviews.

Jatt - actually, Yelp can "scrub" these reviews by moving them to the "not recommended" section.

You should send Jim Paulsen that email again. Did you know that Jim Paulsen has a daughter? Is he more fit to be a parent than you simply because he works for the Superior Court?

For his daughters sake, I hope he is a good father. Isnt that what every child needs? It’s the disconnect these people employ in regard to the parenthood of others - can sadistic sociopaths be good parents?

I work in the school Matthew Laycocks son goes. Laycock is really a mean spirited person, very cold and I could speak to the effects he is having on his son but I will not go into that here.
